So a few weeks ago I went into Debenhams to 'have a look' at the benefit counter as its always so pretty and I wanted to have a nosey at the new Air Patrol eye BB cream and who knew, I ended up walking out £46 poorer!

Everyday Face

Hello Everybody! I thought I'd do a little 'Everyday FOTD' as at the moment this appears to be my 'go-to' look, obviously I change around my eyeshadows a little bit but the bulk of the products I've been using have been very similar recently- so boring I know! Maybe I just need more makeup...or maybe thats just another excuse! 

To Prime or not to Prime?

I feel like primers are the Kanye Wests of the makeup world... you either love them or hate them. I for one, love primers (as you can probably tell!) they are super helpful in increasing the staying power of foundations and eye shadow, there are many different types of primers which do many different things, so I thought I'd run through some of my most used ones.

M&M/Oreo squares

Ladies & Gentlemen, if heaven was in food form, this would be it, these little gems of sweetness are to die for... I found this recipe online and it said it was perfect for using up old ingredients, part of that I agree with- the flour and butter part, but not so much the chocolate part. Anyone who knows me will know that I would never have 'spare' chocolate and cookies just lying around, it just wouldn't happen! But these looked too good not to bake, and they taste AMAZING!

 I'm sorry but how gorgeous is the front of this cafe?! Hidden away in the heart of Nottingham is one of the sweetest, more gorgeous little independent cafes I have come across yet! It's so cute!

Regardless of how good the uni social life is, sometimes a much needed break is in order, so the other weekend I swapped the buzzing uni halls for a tranquil weekend away with my family.
