Products I've 'Rediscovered'

These products are a major throwback to me, but I have also fallen back in love with all of them, do you guys have any throwback products?

These products used to be part of my everyday makeup bag in college which was about 3-4 years ago (god that makes me feel so old), and I was recently browsing the makeup section and Boots and thought I'd retry a couple of things and oh the memories! Some of them I have had in my makeup collection for ages and just forgotten about and others I recently repurchased

Benefit Boi-ing: This was 'the' concealer back at college, it had such a full coverage but for me it just looked a little cakey under my eyes and I found it quite hard to blend- plus I stupidly bought this when I had a tan and then I went back to my pale self. BUT; the other day I had fake tanned and thought I'd try this out as an eyeshadow base and it actually worked really well. Because of the high coverage it made a perfect base for eyeshadow and I just set it with a pressed powder and added some UD primer potion over the top. My eyeshadow stayed creaseless all night so I'll definitely be using this again!

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation: I used to LOVE this foundation, I swear everyone used to use this or the Rimmel Wake Me Up. Sadly I am way too pale for Wake Me Up but this has a really nice coverage and is both easy to blend and build up a good coverage too. It feels very light on your skin so it doesn't really feel like you're caking yourself in foundation. It's also super affordable too which is a great bonus.

Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer: This concealer I have repurchased over and over again but for some reason I completely forgot it existed for months. It has a really nice coverage and for some reason only has two shades in the range, which is pretty limiting but it's a perfect everyday concealer, especially for those days where you don't fancy foundation but still want some basic coverage. I always say this but a top tip is to pull off the sponge applicator, simply because you get so much more product as it won't get lost in the sponge.

Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo: Anyone else remember these?! I used to have so many of these and for some bizarre reason I got rid of them all and completely forgot about how good they were! The other day I found this champagne gold shade (101 Breathless) which is just perfect for brightening up eye looks. It had really great staying power and lasted the entire night, plus it's so pigmented and I shall definitely be expanding my collection now I have rediscovered how amazing they are (and they have some new shades too)

Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer: I am actually embarrassed to admit that I don't remember when I purchased this, it is that old. But as much as I don't tend to keep liquid products for longer than recommended I tend not to really watch my powders too much. I will always love this product, it gives a really gorgeous bronze look without being too intense. It's super easy to blend and perfect if you're not mega tanned, plus it looks like a 'frickin' chocolate bar!

If you guys have any throwback/classic products that you're loving then please please please let me know as I love rekindling my love or trying new products!

  1. I've been using the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation for a while now and absolutely love it. It's one of my all time favourites. x
